The Youth Happiness Camp, organized by International Association of Human Values, ART Excel and YES (Youth Empowerment Seminar) programs, will take place Dec. 16-19. The camp, which is aimed at teens, seeks to help them learn skills to support a healthy body, mind and lifestyle.

“Youth undergo a lot of stress and anxiety, which increases the cortisol levels, which in turn has a negative impact on the focus, concentration, and self-esteem,” explains instructor Mona Shah Joshi. “These workshops teach life-skills, and breathing techniques, which will help improve focus, concentration, leadership skills, better sleep, eliminate stress, and help control their own emotions and mind.” Mona Shah Joshi has been teaching for 20+ years and is the first IAHV youth program instructor. IAHV is a partner with Art of Living organization.

The Youth Happiness Camp takes place Dec. 16-19 from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. at East Side Bahai Center, 16007 NE 8th St., Bellevue. $200. Registration required. For more information: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 612-817-2620.
